Below is an introduction to the study participant: Oliver Harvey assumed his role as the Director of Academics of RIU’s Pathway programs in Davenport, Iowa as someone who had, himself, survived the turmoil and upheaval of transitioning from a more traditional university-based IEP to one united in collaboration with a for-profit corporate partner when he was an ELT in the UK Years prior he had graduated from his university with a degree in French, but knew he did not want to be a French teacher. Eventually, Oliver got a job working with international students and completely loved it.
